What it tracks

  • Context window usage (percentage of tokens consumed), read from Claude's own API responses — not estimated
  • Turn count and session duration
  • Real token counts per turn (input/output) and cache hit rate
  • Peak context high-water mark
  • Color-coded alert status at 30% / 55% / 75% thresholds
  • Browser notification if the monitor itself stops receiving data — you'll know if something's wrong, not just silence
Why These Tools Exist

Built from Necessity

When you're running multi-hour build sessions with Claude on a Chromebook, you learn fast what you need and what's missing.

📊
Context Awareness
Know exactly how much context window you've consumed before Claude starts forgetting your earlier instructions. No more surprise resets.
Zero Overhead
Lightweight Chrome extension. No server, no account, no API key. Install it, forget it's there until you need it.
🔔
Smart Alerts
The badge color escalates as your context fills up (green → gold → orange → red), so you see it coming. If the monitor itself ever stops getting real data, it tells you — no silent failures.
🛠️
Solo Dev Friendly
Built by one person on a Chromebook. Tested across marathon sessions. If it works for a 90-hour project sprint, it'll work for you.
